I never read it as a kid, so it was new to me, and I'm so glad I bought it. I got it to read to my 5 year old niece over Christmas. It is written in rhyme, which will make it fun to read and fun for her to listen to, and the illustrations are cute! The last page brought tears to my eyes. It is so sweet|About the Author|Gale Wiersum was a Golden Books staffer during the 1970s.Alex Steele-Morgan lives in England.
